  • After NSFAS creates your NSFAS Wallet account, you’ll get a “Welcome” SMS telling you to confirm your account.

  • If you would like to take out cash, you can do so at any of our participating merchant locations, including Checkers, Boxer, U-Save, and certain Spar stores. Keep in mind that the daily cash withdrawal limitations for these stores range from R200 to R1000.
  • You can spend as much money as you like at a registered retailer, up to the entire amount in your cash wallet.
