Steps To Send Application To DHET Registered TVET Colleges

Applying to any of the tvet colleges on the list below requires following the steps below:

  • Get your application form.

On the internet, new applications are available:

You must provide permission for the college to contact you by phone and email during the application process. Please make sure you enter at least one working mobile number and a working email address when completing your application.

  • Complete your application form with full

confirmation of ID, email, and phone number. We utilise your ID, email address, and mobile number for verification.

  • Add all supporting documents.

All applicants starting a new qualification must upload the official documentation listed below:

  1. Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
  2. Certificates/Qualifications
  3. Recent Academic results
  4. Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
  5. A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
  6. The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).

Do NSFAS Cover TVET College Tuition?

Since TVET Colleges are state-run public educational institutions, students enrolling in these programs are eligible for help under the National Student Financial Aid Scheme in the form of NSFAS bursaries.

Subject to the Colleges’ requirements, the NSFAS stipend provides living expenses and housing in addition to covering tuition costs.
