UNIVERSITY
- Accommodation
As per the actual costs charged by the university (costs for private accommodation must not exceed costs for university residence) - Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7 500 per annum

TVET

What You Need To Receive NSFAS Fund
What you will need to receive your NSFAS allowances via NSFAS Wallet?
- Your own cell phone and valid SIM card
- You must sign your NSFAS Bursary Agreement if you are a new student to NSFAS
- You will not need to withdraw cash to pay your landlord or any registered merchant.
How To Activate NSFAS Wallet And Receive Allowance In 2024
- Sign your LAF/ SOP.
- Receive an SMS welcoming you to Mobile Wallet.
- Verify your account by dialling *120*176# and reply with your ID number.
- Receive a password that you will use when transacting.
- Your vouchers will be made available for spending.
