How do I transfer money from NSFAS wallet to bank account; Login To NSFAS Wallet
You can make cash withdrawals and/or purchases at any NSFAS-registered merchant using your NSFAS Wallet. The amount of your allowance is decided after consulting with the relevant institutions and is shared with NSFAS upon registration. The NSFAS Wallet Login requires that you go to celbux.appspot.com. Please enter your password and phone number to log in. Go to the More tab and select transactions to see your NSFAS Wallet Balance. Never disclose your Nsfas login credentials. How To Activate NSFAS Wallet
- Receive an SMS welcoming you to the NSFAS Wallet
- Verify your account by dialling *120*176# and reply with your ID number
- Receive a password that you will use when transacting. Note that you need to keep this password secure at all times as anyone with access to your password may access or spend your money. It is advisable to log in to Celbux.appspot.com with your 5-digit password and update your password to something more secure and memorable.
- Do not keep or save your password on your cell phone and always keep your cell phone’s screen locked with a password or pin.
What You Will Need To Receive Your NSFAS Allowances Through NSFAS Wallet
- Your own cell phone and valid SIM card
- You must sign your NSFAS Bursary Agreement if you are a new student to NSFAS
- You will not need to withdraw cash to pay your landlord or any registered merchant.
NSFAS Allowance
The amounts specified for lodging, stipend, transportation, and educational materials must be in compliance with the most recent DHET regulations.
UNIVERSITY
- Accommodation
As per the actual costs charged by the university (costs for private accommodation must not exceed costs for university residence) - Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7 500 per annum
- Living allowance R15, 000 per annum
- Book allowances R5200 per annum
- Incidental/personal care allowance of R2900 per annum for students in catered residences
TVET
- Accommodation in an urban area is R24,000 per annum
- Accommodation in a peri-urban area is R18,900 per annum
- Accommodation in a rural area is R15,750 per annum
- Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7,350 per annum
- Transport R7000 per annum
- Incidental/personal care allowance R2900 per annum

Key Payment Dates for NSFAS Allowances 2024
Monthly payments, predominantly within the first week of every month for 10 months.
Noteworthy: Payments vary by student. So, if your roommate receives their allowance before you, stay calm.
