One of the 50 public TVET institutions in South Africa, Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) is run by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). There are eight TVET colleges in Gauteng. The Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) has published a list of approved undergraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes for 2024–2025 as well as the requirements for enrollment in each. CJC College was founded to provide better educational services to South Africa’s diverse population and to make the country more accessible.

Qualifications for Central Johannesburg College Applications
Those who wish to apply to Central Johannesburg College must ensure that they meet all requirements. The standard requirements for applying are listed below;
- The applicant’s phone number or email address must be functional.
- The applicant needs to submit three (3) current ID copies.
- Three (3) legitimate copies of the applicant’s parent/guardian ID are required.
- If you are a South African citizen, you must have an identity number.
- Foreign students will also need to provide a valid copy of their passport number
- Applicant must provide their previous school qualifications
- Applicants must also provide their current school’s transcript
- Applicants must have evidence of their residence
- Applicants must provide evidence of their medical insurance or cover
- Applicants should provide a study permit( if they are foreign students)
- SAQA-approved for foreign qualifications.
- To enrol in Grade 9 or 12 programs or NC (V) LQF Level 2 (Business and General Studies), an applicant must have completed Grade 12/N3/NQF Level.
- A candidate for an engineering program needs to have earned an N3 Engineering/NQF Level 4 on the NQF in addition to Grade 12 Math and Science.
- A candidate for a post-Grade 12 program must provide proof that they have completed Grade 12/N3/NQF Level 4 or a comparable course.
