WestCol Application Requirements

The standard application materials that candidates need to have on hand while submitting their applications are listed below.

• A certified copy of the applicant’s identification documents or birth certificate is required (compulsory for citizens of SA)
• A certified copy of the applicant’s passport or passport number (for international students only) is required.
• A copy of the most recent school report—Grades 9 or above.
• A phone number and email address are required of applicants.

 

WestCol Application Procedures

To successfully apply to the institution, applicants must adhere to certain application procedures.

• Applicants must submit their documentation; they will be notified of their progress by SMS or email.
• Before applying, candidates would kindly read the basic prerequisites.
• If there aren’t enough students enrolled in a program, Westcol can end it or shift it to a different site.
• Candidates must have a working email account because that is how we will be contacting you.
• Applicants need to make sure they don’t miss any emails by regularly checking them.
• Candidates need to know that original certified copies of all required documentation must be supplied, and the certification cannot be more than six months old.
• It is requested of candidates that they scan the following papers into PDF format:

1. Candidates’ grade 12 diploma, results statement, most recent school report, and DHET certificate
2. Document with the candidate’s ID
3. Candidates’ evidence of residency.
