South West Gauteng TVET College Application Date 2024/2025

Applicants are to apply for admission at South West Gauteng TVET College by the following date:

  • SWGC will be open for applications 2024-2025 on the 1st of September 2024.
  • SWGC for the academic year 2024-2025 will be closing on the 30th of November 2024.

Requirements for SWGC Online Applications 2024–2025

The prerequisites listed below must be fulfilled to apply for admission to SWGC:

Foreign Students:
  • Certified copy of passport
  • Study permit
  • Evaluation certificates from the South African Qualification Authority

SA Students:

  • Certified copy of ID/birth certificate.
  • a certified copy of your senior diploma or its equivalent. grades from grade 11 combined with the most recent grades in grade 12, if still in grade 12.
  • Copy of certified Parent/Guardian’s ID
  • An email address as well as a cellphone number.

SWGC Online Application Steps

to send an application to SWGC kindly follow these steps;

Step 1: Pick your preferred course of study

  • Application forms are available online at www.swgc.co.za or any of the college’s sites or campuses.
  • Navigate to the College Prospectus and choose the programme or programmes you want to pursue.

Note; Late applications will not be considered!

Step 2: Application Forms 2024

  • Application forms must be filled out in hard copy using a black pen with clear printing. You must sign your application form. Application forms that are not signed will not be processed.
  • Go HERE to apply online.
  • Please be aware that the application form is not a registration form; those who are accepted will receive registration forms.

An incomplete application will result in delays in processing.

Step 3: Supporting documentation

All applications require supporting documents to be submitted to the College.

  • Completed Application forms must be accompanied by the following documents:
  • Certified copy of the latest results/qualification
  • A certified copy of the Identity document
  • If you have a disability or an ongoing medical condition that will necessitate you seeking special help from the College, please attach a medical statement from a licenced physician.

The College cannot consider your application if all required supporting documentation is not attached.

Step 4: Application fee

  • There is no application fee required.

  • Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or non-acceptance status after two weeks of receiving their applications.
