Under the Higher Education Act of 1997, with Registration Certificate No. 2012/HE07/001, iQ Academy (Pty) Ltd Company Registration No. 2006/033114/07 is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training until December 31, 2027, as a Private Higher Education Institution.

By the Continuing Education and Training Act of 2006, iQ Academy is recognised by the Department of Higher Education and Training as a Private Further Education and Training College. Our DHET registration number is 2009/FE07/102.

• South African Qualifications Authority( SAQA

By the National Qualifications Framework Act No. 67 of 2008, SAQA is a statutory body. All qualifications must be listed by SAQA on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), which is made available by both public and commercial providers. All of iQ Academy’s credentials have been sent to SAQA for inclusion in the NQF. The SAQA website has a list of the qualifications that iQ Academy offers:

• Council on Higher Education(CHE)

All programmes provided by higher education institutions are subject to quality assurance by the CHE, an independent statutory organisation. A programme must first be submitted to the CHE for accreditation for iQ Academy to provide it, as long as it satisfies the minimal requirements established by the CHE’s Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC). Accreditation for all of our qualifications has been granted to iQ Academy.
