University of Johannesburg Application Date

• UJ Application Open Date April 1st 2024
• UJ Application Closing Date October 31st, 2024

Applications are accepted beginning on April 1st of the year before the year of intended study and ending at 12:00 on October 31st, 2024. Applying online is possible by clicking the following link: APPLY HERE; in case you have any trouble submitting your application online, please write an email.

Document You Have To Submit When Applying To the University of Johannesburg

• a working email address (such as a Yahoo or Gmail account).
• Have the prerequisites for the chosen studies been fulfilled? To view the Undergraduate Prospectus and learn more about the minimal entrance criteria, click HERE.
• documents that are individually scanned and certified, if Grade 12 has been completed (see procedure below).
• Requirements for uploading documents while applying online (not relevant for applicants who are in grade 12 or who are internal transfers or seniors): Every document needs to be certified.
• Make sure the scanned file is no larger than 512 KB.
• Every document is scanned in one of the following formats: gif, jpg, pdf, or tiff.
• It is necessary to scan each document and upload it as a separate attachment.
• Alternatively, documents can be sent by email to ujappdocs@listsrv.uj.ac.za, with a note mentioning the student number or provisional reference in the subject line.
