Application Dates For NSFAS

Application Eligibilities Requirements For NSFAS

Through the NSFAS program, the government will always finance worthy and qualified students to attend Tvet Colleges; however, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Applicants household income must come to under R350 000 yearly
  • For applicants with a disability, household income must be under R600 000 yearly
  • Applicants with SASSA beneficiaries immediately qualify
  • Applicants must be accepted or applying to a Public University
  • Applicants must be a South African citizen
  • Applicants must submit a consent Form;
  • Applicants must complete and sign the form
  • South Africa Identity Document: Certified copy ID(not older than 3 months, Certified copies of parent/s or guardian ID or Death certificate
  • Applicants must proof of Income
  • PWD(Persons with Disability): Complete the disability form
  • Applicants must submit their current academic Result

  • You should create a myNSFAS account
  • You should click on the ‘APPLY’ tab and answer the questions on the screen
