Nsfas Application Dates At WestCol
The NSFAS online application dates for the 2024 academic at WestCol started from September 2023 through to the 31st of January 2024. Therefore we encourage all interested applicants to start with their application now as the application is still ongoing to prevent late application.
Nsfas Application Eligibility At WestCol
Below are the qualifications for the NSFAS application at the school.
- Applicants must be South African citizens
- Applicants must have all SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 yearly
- The person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 yearly
- Applicants who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 yearly
Nsfas Application Requirements At WestCol
Applicants should have the documents listed below with them when applying for the fund
- Applicant must provide their cellphone number and email address
- Applicant must provide a valid Copy of your ID or birth certificate
- Applicant must provide a valid ID copy of parents, guardians or spouse
- Applicant must provide proof of income or 1 year’s IRP5 (if applicable)
- Your parents, guardian or spouse’s proof of income
- If you are a SASSA grant recipient, no proof of income will be required
- Applicants with a disability must submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form, click here to download
- Applicant must provide an applicant who is recognized as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development must provide a completed and signed

Nsfas Application Process At WestCol
To ensure a successful application for the fund, applicants should follow the guidelines below.
- Applicants must visit NSFAS’s official website www.nsfas.org.za
- Applicants must click on Create Account to create your myNSFAS account
- Applicants must log in and Click the Apply tab
- Applicants must fill in their personal required details and upload their supporting documents
- Applicants must click on the ‘Submit’ option to complete their application and note their application Reference number after filling in the details required.
