At IIE Rosebank College we offer multiple Education qualifications from Early Childhood development through to Higher Education. For those who wish to earn a teaching credential for grades 4 through 7, the IIE Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching is a professional degree. This IIE credential will generate exceptionally talented and creative educators for educational institutions worldwide. You can apply for the IIE Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education if you want to start with a higher credential.

Rosebank Teaching Program Duration

4 years

Admission Requirement To Rosebank College Teaching Program

below is the minimum requirement for the applicant wishing to study teaching courses and become a teacher in the future;

NSC: Diploma with………………30%
NC(V): Diploma pass with…….40%
SC: Endorsement -none with…33.3%
SC(a): Diploma pass……………. A minimum of 30% in LOLT in NSC/ SC(a) OR with a min. of 33.3% in SC.
International………………………. A SAQA Evaluation Certificate with NSC L4 equivalence with at least 40% or equivalent for English.
Alternatively, a cognate Higher Certificate (or equivalent) or Advanced Certificate may satisfy the minimum admission requirements to diploma studies………. If discipline is not cognate, at least 20% of credits
must be academic literacy or numeracy-related.
