EWC Nsfas Application Dates
The online application for the 2024 NSFAS was opened from the month of September 2023 and runs through to the 31st of January 2024. Therefore we advise all interested applicants start with their online application before the deadline of the application to prevent rejection.
EWC Nsfas Application Eligibility
Applicants should check for the application qualification and know if they are eligible before applying for the financial aid. Below are the application eligibility applicants must watch out for.
- Applicants must be a South African citizen.
- Applicants must all SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding.
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 yearly.
- A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 yearly.
- Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 yearly.
EWC Nsfas Application Requirements
Below are the application documentation applicants must have at hand before applying for the financial aid.
- Applicants must provide an original copies of Identity Documents/Birth Certificate
- Applicants must provide an original academic results latest
- Applicants must provide proof of parent’s income (If parent/s employed)
- Applicants must provide death Certificate/s (If parent/s deceased)
- Applicants must provide doctor’s Certificate (If permanently disabled)

- Applicants should start by going to www.nsfas.org.za and click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
- Applicants should create a myNSFAS account
- Applicants should click on the ‘APPLY’ tab and answer the questions on the screen
- Applicants should upload the required supporting documents then click on ‘submit.
