Students, both new and returning, must register as the upcoming academic year draws near to confirm their college eligibility. Here are the registration guidelines for Ekurhuleni West Tvet College, or EWC, for the 2024–2025 semester. It contains the Ekurhuleni West Tvet College registration process for both new and continuing students in addition to the student online registration site.

The Ekurhuleni West Tvet College Registration Fee is payable where?

All funds must be deposited into the College’s ABSA BANK bank account. Before the National Examinations start, the outstanding balance must be paid in full.

Upon registration, a deposit and a registration fee are required. Cash will not be accepted on campus. It is necessary to receive a customised deposit slip from the Campus. The reference number on the deposit sheet must be the registration number that the campus provides. Only after payment has been received may students be registered.

Payment confirmation needs to be turned in at the campus.

Upon registration, all students are required to present or have available the following:

  1. An original/certified copy of the latest school report / Senior Certificate or highest certificate or results.
  2. An original/certified copy of the identity document/affidavit and photograph in case of no/lost identity document/birth certificate.
  3. Deposit / necessary fees.
  4. Accompanied by money for textbooks, kits, stationery and learning material (where applicable).
  5. They are preferably accompanied by a parent/guardian if under 18.
  6. Proof of residential address and relevant contact details.

If you need an NSFAS bursary, you must also upload proof of income and parents’ / legal guardians’ Identity Documents.

Applicants can also visit the college to book an online application session if they struggle with the internet. You can use your smartphone, tablet or computer to apply online.

Steps New Applicants Can Apply To Ekurhuleni West Tvet College

Three steps need to be completed in order to access our application system:

  • You must complete Career Guidance Exploration. (You can explore careers and come back on another day to complete steps 2 and 3. Just remember to keep your username and password.)
  • You must complete a Pre-Entry Placement Assessment (as outlined in the video);
  • You must then complete the Online Application Form (and upload documents).
