DHET NATED Results are the results of the DHET’s National Accredited Technical Education Diploma (NATED) exams. These examinations include a wide range of technical subjects, including Engineering Studies, Business Studies, Information Technology, Hospitality Studies, and others. NSC Exam Results General Information 2024-2025

2024 NSC full-time candidates may access their individual results on this website from 6am on 20 January 2024.
The results that are reflected on this website are the results of the 2023 National Senior Certificate examination.
The Statement of Results is available from 20 January 2023 at the school/exam centre where the candidate wrote.
Some candidate’s results may be excluded from the results published on this website because of technical reasons. If a candidate’s results do not show, the candidate should please enquire at the centre where they wrote or district/provincial office.
The Department of Basic Education reserves the right to change any of the information published on this website.

NSC Exam Application Date 2024-2025

There is a second chance to complete or enhance your findings. You can register for the May/June 2024 test; the registration deadline is February 8, 2024. Admission criteria can be found on the back of your Statement of Results.

NSC Exam Re-issue of a certificate 2024-2025

For all certifications granted, candidates have a twelve-month deadline from the date of issue to request revisions. A modification to an original certificate will not be accepted unless the original (not a replacement) certificate is returned.

To alter your name on your matric certificate, submit a Re-issues application form to the Department of Basic Education (DBE) or Provincial Education Department (PED). You must personally visit the local DBE/PED office so that DBE/PED authorities can interview you before making the adjustments.

While you wait for your certificate, a statement of results may be issued as an interim record.

Documents Required To Re-issue of a certificate 2024-2025

All applicants must have the following documents;
Certified copies of the candidate’s old and new Identity Documents
A detailed sworn statement (affidavit) by the candidate
The original certificate
A letter from the Department of Home Affairs confirming that it has, on behalf of the person in question, acted in terms of Section 27(A) of the Births and Death Registration Act, 1992, and that it has altered the sex description (and the names) of that person
Application form obtainable from the DBE/PED.

How to Apply For Re-issue of a certificate 2024-2025

Follow the below steps to apply for a certificate:

Pay the prescribed fee by postal order at the Post Office, cash at DBE/PED office or by cheque.
Go to the nearest DBE/PED offices with the following documents:

your original national/ senior certificate and a certified copy
Identity document (ID) and a certified copy of your ID
an affidavit stating the reasons for alteration (detailed one)
confirmation letter from the Department of Home Affairs
Birth certificate. If you don’t have a birth certificate you must bring a clinic card, baptismal certificate, or school report that states your name and date of birth.

Alternatively you can download the form, fill it and post it with the attached documents, including the postal order or cheque, to: Private Bag X895, Pretoria, 0001.
