Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) is one of the 50 public TVET institutions in South Africa that functions under the Department of Higher Education and Training’s (DHET) jurisdiction. Eight TVET colleges are located in Gauteng. Entry requirements and a list of approved undergraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes for 2024–2025 have been made public by Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC). To better serve the diverse population of South Africa and provide better educational services, CJC College was founded. By offering top-notch educational services, the college hopes to create a Further Education and Training [FET] that would enhance society. Requirements for Applications to Central Johannesburg College
To apply to Central Johannesburg College, one must make sure they fulfil all prerequisites. The following is a list of the standard conditions for applying;
- The applicant must have a working phone number and email account.
- Three (3) copies of the applicant’s current ID must be submitted.
- It is necessary to have three (3) valid copies of the applicant’s parent or guardian ID.
- You are required to have an identity number if you are a citizen of South Africa.
- Additionally, foreign students must present a current copy of their passport.
- The applicant needs to provide their transcripts from prior schools.
- Transcripts from their current school are also required of applicants.
- Applicants must have evidence of their residence
- Applicants must provide evidence of their medical insurance or cover
- Applicants should provide a study permit( if they are foreign students)
- SAQA-approved for foreign qualifications.
Before selecting a course, applicants should be aware of the entrance standards listed below for the courses that the institution offers.
- To enrol in Grade 9 or 12 programs or NC (V) LQF Level 2 (Business and General Studies), an applicant must have completed Grade 12/N3/NQF Level.
- A candidate for an engineering program needs to have earned an N3 Engineering/NQF Level 4 on the NQF in addition to Grade 12 Math and Science.
- A candidate for a post-Grade 12 program must provide proof that they have completed Grade 12/N3/NQF Level 4 or a comparable course.
