NSFAS TVET Colleges 2024-2025
National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a government initiative aimed at financially assisting eligible students in pursuing higher education. NSFAS, under the auspices of the South Africa and Department of Higher Education provides financial aid to eligible students to cover their tuition fees, learning materials, accommodation, and living expenses.
NSFAS funding is offered to public or Government institutions of Higher Education to assist the less privileged financially. To receive these funding, students or applicants must be a South African citizen of 16 years or above, must be enrolled in a recognized institution, academically good and must be in a state of financial need.

Required Documents To Apply For NSFAS At TVET Colleges 2024-2025
The followiung documents are required for NSFAS application. Note that these documents must be certified copies;
- Certified copy of your Identity Document.
- Certified copy of the birth certificate.
- Certified copies of ID for each household member including parents or legal guardian.
- If parents are divorced, a certified copy of the divorce decree.
- If you are a SASSA grant recipient, no proof of income is required.
- Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form if applicable.
- Applicants with a disability must submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form.

NSFAS Online Application Procedure 2024-2025
TVET college students must apply online throughout the particular application period of time. Personal and financial details, as well as supporting documents, are required as part of the application process. To apply online;
- Visit the official website of NSFAS at: www.nsfas.org.za
- Click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab.
- Create a myNSFAS account.
- Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab.
- Complete the sections on the screen.
- Upload the required supporting documents.
- Click on the “Submit” button to finish the application.
