The Motheo Technical Vocational and Education and Training College was formally established by the Department of Education. Motheo TVET College is one of the four public TVET Colleges in the Free State, serving the Motheo and Xhariep Districts. Motheo TVET College offers NSFAS Bursary
The college also offers a bursary to its students, The NSFAS Bursary Programme is offered to students intending to study or already pursuing a public university or TVET college qualification.
Who May Apply For the Motheo TVET College bursary scheme?
- Registered students for the new National Certificate Vocational Programmes (NQF Level 2 – 4)
- A South African citizen
- In need of financial assistance with the necessary proof
- Able to demonstrate potential for academic success
- without parents i.e. an orphan;
- unemployed parents;
- being a member of a family headed by a single parent or a single legal guardian with an annual income of less than R12 000 per year; and
- employed parents with a joint netto income of less than R10 000 per month
