Nsfas Application Requirements

- Applicants must submit a signed bursary application form
- Applicants must submit 5 Certified copies of I.D.
- Applicants must submit proof of income (grant, pensions, etc) of both parents OR
- Applicants must submit an affidavit, if parents/sponsor/guardians are unemployed, deceased or their whereabouts, are not known
- Applicants must submit the latest academic results of the applicant (average of 40%)
- Applicants must submit proof of residence
- Applicants must submit I.D. or birth certificates of all household members
- Applicants must submit reports of all students in the household.

Nsfas Application Eligibilities
Applicants who fall within these categories can apply for the NSFAS.
- Applicants must be South African citizen
- Applicants must all SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 yearly
- A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 yearly
- Applicants who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 yearly.

- Applicants must look for the tab “MyNSFAS” and click it
- Applicant needs to create an account called myNSFAS
- Applicants must click the apply tab and answer the question
